Repatriation to Egypt Cairo

We were approached by a Client to have their Father repatriation to Cairo, Egypt on Saturday this weekend. The request was to have the Deceased in Cairo for early Tuesday morning for burial. The Deceased was of Christian Faith.

On Monday morning by 8.30 we had effected the removal from a hospital in London and our Embalmer was on hand to prepare for the repatriation.

In the meantime our Client had registered the death and we had applied for the Out of England. The Coroner issued this within an hour!

A car was sent to the Egyptian Embassy to collect their representative so that he could witness the sealing of the coffin and issue the travel permit.

A flight was also booked and confirmed within two hours.

So by 1.00pm on Monday we were ready to transport the Deceased to Heathrow Airport for onwards travel via Egyptian Airways.

Egyptian Airways were slightly more expensive than British Airways but the arrival of the flight in Cairo was earlier and this is what our Client wanted.

We have been informed that the Burial took place early Tuesday morning.
