If an overseas Funeral Director collects the deceased from our premises to return to Poland by road, the total price will be lower.
Suitable Polish airports with the required customs clearance are Warsaw, Krakow-Balice, Gdansk, Katowice and Wrocław.
Poznan Airport has customs facilities but does not accept human remains as the aircraft that travel between the UK and this airport are not large enough.

What Documents Are Needed for Repatriation?
- Passport of the deceased - An out of date passport is acceptable.
- UK death certificate.
- Embalming certificate - Mears Repatriation will supply.
- Freedom from infection certificate - Mears Repatriation will supply.
- Permission to take the person out of the country - Mears Repatriation will apply for this.
