International Repatriation to Nigeria

We offer a full international repatriation service to Nigeria, offering options through Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in the North, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and Port Harcourt Airport in the South. Our all-inclusive price of £2,920.00, which includes a zinc lined coffin and all our services, is based on a flight into Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, please contact us for alternatives.

There are three airports in Nigeria, that is Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja permitted to manage repatriations.

All these airports have the required custom clearance facilities

Passport of the deceased - An out of date passport is acceptable.
UK death certificate.
Embalming certificate - Mears Repatriation will supply.
Freedom from infection certificate - Mears Repatriation will supply.
Permission to take the person out of the country - Mears Repatriation will apply for this.

As part of our repatriation service to Nigeria, we will obtain the necessary permits that allows transportation of the Deceased from the United Kingdom to Nigeria.

We will usually require the Passport of the person who has died. However, if this is not available, please let us know and we can make alternative arrangements.
