Passport of the deceased - An out of date passport is acceptable.
UK death certificate.
Embalming certificate - Mears Repatriation will supply.
Freedom from infection certificate - Mears Repatriation will supply.
Permission to take the person out of the country - Mears Repatriation will apply for this.

As part of our repatriation service to Malta, we will obtain the necessary permits that allows transportation of the Deceased from the United Kingdom to Malta.

We will usually require the Passport of the person who has died. However, if this is not available, please let us know and we can make alternative arrangements.
